Most of you have been working diligently to convert to IP, and we sincerely appreciate your cooperation and hard work. However, like most major migrations, we have run into a few bumps in the road. Therefore, we have officially extended the IP conversion deadline to December 14, 2001. In addition, the deadline for the following items is January 31, 2002:- APS and GUS Routing Files;
- VPS IP Printing of CME Out-trades
- FTP routing for PCS, Reportables and Related Accounts submission to our FTP server
As we previously announced, all RJE traffic must be converted to FTP and/or GUS MQM no later than Thursday, January 31, 2002. APS routing files will be sent to our FTP server, since a date for APS-MQM has not be determined. We expect to disconnect our 3745 controllers in February, upon successful completion of the conversion. If you have not yet converted to IP, please review this document in its entirety, and make sure that all of the appropriate staff within your firm receive copies. We will also need firms to submit information to Client Management which is identified in the Sections I and II of this memo . Please note the following changes that were made to this document since October 2001: - New RPS.DATA dataset name for Reportable data files via FTP.
- New production MQM IP address: 198.212.155.249
AS/400 users must ensure that their print queue is set to allow a record length of 133 characters.For additional information, please contact one of the following individuals: Karen McCoy kmccoy@cme.com - (312) 930-4524 -- Frame Relay Network questions.
